We are happy to announce that our paper Graphene Solution-Gated Field-Effect Transistor for Ultrasound-Based Wireless and Battery-Free Biosensing has been published. In this study we set the basis to use graphene SGFET for the next generation of biosensors that uses ultrasound to communicate. In particular, we show that it is possible to read the state of the transistor using a pulse-echo protocol. The use of ultrasound for medical application is booming because it offers many advantages over the electromagnetic wave. We hope that our proof of concept will largely contribute to this field to improve patient's comfort during a diagnosis phase or for therapeutic applications.
